*The house was originally constructed with a minimal electrical supply by the previous owner. Although the electrical system has since been upgraded, we are currently awaiting inspection and approval to increase the power capacity from the utility provider.

    • The following have been known to cause power outages in the house (we’re working on a fix ASAP):

      • Running hot water in both bathrooms at the same time.

      • Using the oven while the AC units and other devices are running or at a very high tempertature.

In case of a power outage, please send the host a message on whatsapp or call +49-170-47-12364. In case of no answer, please call 5941808.

    • Wi-Fi details and password are conveniently located on the wall next to the main entrance.

    • Upon entering, you'll find a set of keys to your left, including one for the front door, one for interior doors, and one for the sliding door at the back.

    • There should already be a key in the sliding door. You can leave it in for convenience.

    • Fresh bathroom towels, beach towels, beach chairs, a portable cooler, and snorkeling gear (available in sizes S/M and M/L) free to use.

    • We also provide complimentary amenities throughout the house (e.g. hand soaps and lotion, basic cooking ingredients (salt/pepepr/olive oil etc)) .

    • Wines and spirits in the kitchen/dining area are available at an extra cost, clearly labeled with pricing for your convenience.

    • Housekeeping is done prior to check-in and after check-out. Additional cleaning during your stay can be arranged for an additional fee (subject to availability).

    • In exceptional cases, extra cleaning fees may apply if the property is left in significantly poor condition.

    • For your safety and peace of mind, security cameras monitor the exterior of the property.

    • There is one camera at the gate, one doorbell camera, three cameras to monitor the frontyard, and one camera to monitor the pool and backyard.

    • Tampering, disabling, or otherwise blocking the view of any security camera is strictly prohibited and may result in a fine of USD 250 per infringement.

    • Grandma Nana (the gardner) visits every 2 to 3 days to water the outdoor plants either early morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday sun. She does not have set times and does not provide much notice (she is 85 years old), but she’s harmless and loves taking care of the garden.

    • Pool maintenance occurs twice weekly, typically Tuesday and Friday afternoons between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Please note service times and days may change without notice based on their schedule.

    • Pest control comes by once a month to refill the mosquito reppelant buckets and inspect the exterior of the house.

    • Any extra maintenance will be scheduled on days without guests. If urgent repairs are needed during your stay, we’ll give you advance notice and explain the reason.

    • For everyone’s safety, glass containers are not allowed anywhere outside, especially in or around the pool area. Please use the plastic cups provided. Broken glass can cause serious injuries and lead to costly emergency cleanups, which you would be responsible for.

    • The pump room is only accessible by staff (please do not enter the pump room without permission).

    • In order to turn on the jets in the jacuzzi, please reach out to the host.

    • Both bathrooms have hot water in the shower. To switch on the hot water in the grey bathroom (Bathroom 1), the markings are reversed. For the blue bathroom (bathroom 2), the markings are correct and operate normally.

    • The water will typically become hot within approximately 15 seconds.

    • Please do not tamper with the water heater machines themselves (located on the outside of the shower).

  • Please ensure the AC units are turned off when not in use or if doors remain open.

    • You can control the exterior wall lights at the front of the house using the switches next to the front door.

    • The exterior wall lights at the back of the house, by the pool, are controlled by switches located beside your closet. Each room has two switches by the closet door — one for the closet light and one for the exterior wall light. The left room’s switch controls the left wall light; the right room’s switch controls the right wall light. We know it’s a bit quirky, and we’re planning updates later this year to simplify things.

    • Our garden lights operate on an automatic timer.

    • The pool lights are controlled by a switch in the pump room. Please ask before going into the pump room.

    • The string lights between the pump room and the back right corner of the house can be turned on by plugging them into the socket behind the pump room.

    • Please keep the front gate closed at night to avoid neighborhood dogs from entering the property. They’re cute and harmless, but they like to tip over trashcans for leftover food.

    • Press the power button to the left to turn on the stove in general, then turn on the specific area you want to cook with. Set the temperature (sliding it left and right).

    • Please leave keys inside the house.

    • Turn off all appliances.

    • Please leave the house in the same great condition as you found it.
